Pages lie flat on the surface of the scanner and with the press of a button will instantly recognize all the text, reading in a clear human-like voice into the crease of the book. No prior training is required to operate the Poet BE.

Poet BE is a practical reading device, which can be operated easily and without prior training. Placing a book with its spine flush against the edge of the scanner and pressing a button, the Poet BE will read clearly in a human-like voice after a short recognition process. The advanced software of the Poet BE allows full control over the reading speed, volume, pausing and moving between text passages. Experienced users can modify and expand the way they operate according to their needs. For Braille literate and deaf and blind users a BAUM Braille display can be connected to the Poet BE.
