4.3.5. left Shift+ALT+CTRL+F8: Switch Metronome on

The combination left Shift+ALT+CTRL+F8 switches the Metronome back on.

The Metronome’s ticking tells you when the PC is very busy. It is a kind of acoustic hourglass.

It is switched on by default; it ticks when the PC has a lot to do and can only react to your key strokes slowly.

You can use the combination Left Shift+ALT+CTRL+F9 RG+F9 to switch it off at any time if it disturbs you too much when working.

All four keys must be pressed and held (for about 1-2 seconds) until a sound is emitted and the command executed.
