5.15. COBRA-Key+B: Give battery charge in percent

COBRA Key+B gives the remaining charge of the battery.

The amount of power remaining in the battery is given in percent: 10%, for example, means that very little power is left, and 100% means the battery is fully charged.

This function only works with a battery-driven PC, for example a laptop, Notebook or Sub-Notebook.

COBRA-Key+Shift+B gives the same information but in a different manner. Instead of the current charge being given as a percentage, you will be told if the battery is full, half-full or empty.

Tip:

In the “Options” dialog of the COBRA Menu you can determine whether or not COBRA should automatically announce any changes in the battery status and make an announcement when connected to, or disconnected from, the mains supply.
